Monday, October 4th - {11am - 4pm} Sherry Showcase Grand Tasting opens at 11am
11:30am - Sherry masterclass with césar saldaña
Participants will engage with the president of the Consejo Regulador during a one hour masterclass discussing and tasting of the traditional wines of the sherry region, as well as the recent changed, including the new Vinos de Albariza D.O.
1:00pm - the art of stewardship in the marco de jerez hosted by Nick africano
Join a conversation about the art of stewardship in the Marco de Jerez through the lens of winemaking, vineyards, and the solera systems. Special guests Ana Cabestrero, Ramiro Ibáñez, and Joaquin Gómez Beser.
2:30pm - lustau blind tasting with lucas paya
Show your skill at Lustau’s blind tasting! Sign ups are very limited! Winners receive a FREE sherry certification course…and some great wines!
3pm- LIVE FLAMENCO WITH ALFONSO CID
Alfonso Cid, Flamenco singer and flute player. He has performed in venues such as Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Town Hall, London’s Royal Albert Hall, and Palacio de las Bellas Artes and Sala Covarrubias in Mexico City. He has produced albums with “Gazpacho Andalú”, Latin Rock band “Dientes de Caramelo”, and the album titled “Zorongo Blu” with Jazz/Flamenco band “New Bojaira”.
