Here’s the full story:

En Rama Sherry Co. and Enramista Sherry Club were given an amazing opportunity to release exclusively in the United States a brand new Collection from the team at De La Riva.

La Riva "Collection" is a new special and limited series of wines made and selected by Willy Pérez and Ramiro Ibáñez. These collections are made up of a set of six bottles that will deal in depth with a specific theme about traditional Andalusian wines. There were 500 cases made total, 500 bottles of 6 wines. They are available from the winemakers on their website in Spain, and available currently in the USA exclusively through ENRAMISTAS SHERRY CLUB.

In La Riva "Collection" we will deal with the most interesting, confusing and novel contents of the sherry framework, and of the rest of the classic areas of Andalusia. The collections will always be accompanied by videos and/or documentation made exclusively for each issue. And of those that we are sure will excite and delight all fans of these wines.

With La Riva "Collection" we want to convey the concern for knowledge and understanding of traditional Andalusian wines, from a didactic and fun perspective in equal parts. The different collections will be a liquid book to enjoy in the form of chapters, whether you want to do it individually or with a group of friends.

For the first chapter of the collection we could not tackle another issue than the wonderful biological breeding. To which we will put in perspective from its beginnings to the present. And where we can understand, among various aspects, how it is developed, how it is worked and its final relationship with the wines that are produced.

On this occasion we have produced and selected wines in the main Andalusian areas of biologically aged wines; Cadiz, Cordoba and Malaga. With the collaboration of Bodegas Gómez Nevado, Viña Armijo, Cortijo La Fuente, Bodegas Alvear, Bodegas González Palacios and Bodegas De La Riva.

"Sacristía Series" Rare Sherry Pairing Dinner at The Finch

Join us for a tasting menu of rare sherry and some of Brooklyn's finest culinary creations.   The Finch & En Rama NYC bring you FIVE masterfully crafted courses paired with different RARE styles of one of the world's best, yet underappreciated wines. Pairings guided by En Rama sherry aficiodados who believe sherry makes you love longer! LIMITED SEATS.  ONLY 6-8SEATS.

"Among the restaurants that earned stars in this year’s Michelin guide, there was one big surprise among the expected heavyweights. Gabe McMackin’s the Finch, a Clinton Hill restaurant that quietly opened ten months ago, was awarded a single star, a major get for the ambitious neighborhood spot that had so far flown pretty far under the radar."

Chris Crowley, Grub Street, October 2015

"Jonathan Wu of Fung Tu... likes the simple steak at the Finch, his neighborhood joint in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. 'I like that the cut is not one of the big three (filet, rib-eye, or sirloin),' he explains. 'It shows some creativity to choose a cut like flatiron, from the shoulder. Also, for me, the portion is perfect at six or seven ounces.'"

Tejal Rao, Bloomberg News, November 2015

"Hidden away on the ground level of an updated brownstone, the Finch is a romantic New American spot. The airy, open space, which seats 74 and is bisected by an expansive white-marble bar, offers seating areas both bustling (up front and overlooking Greene Street) and intimate (out of sight in the back)"

Sherry & Songs Volume II

It's time to bring Sherry & Songs back! Corkbuzz owner Laura Maniec and Sherry Expert Nick Africano will be hosting Volume II in Chelsea Market's brand new lower level floor. We've got you covered if you're nostalgic for Spanish culture. Hello, Flamenco!!

Experience a fun and soulful night in the heart of the market with local musicians and sherry aficionados. Our experts will guide you and your friends on why the pairings work well and are so loved. Plus, we'll be serving special small bites to share and cheese from Saxelby Cheesemongers

Read more below for the amazing history of this series:
This experience was inspired by an event in Jerez, Spain that was skillfully and poetically created by Josep Roca and Diego del Morao (part owner and sommelier of El Celler de Can Roca & flamenco guitarist extraordinaire.)
For Volume I, we brought our own “Sherry & Songs” wine pairing series to the city along with En Rama NYC. As the master Pitu expressed, we hope to create moments where the “sherry becomes music, and music becomes flavor…infusing the atmosphere with duende.” Guests experienced 5 delicious sherries styled with 5 performances ranging from flamenco to folk to blues! We originally held this soulful event at our Union Square location but this time we would love for Manhattan to see the beautifully expanded downstairs venue in Chelsea Market!
